It means: "Environmentally friendly" !!! Recycle, save our natural resources (don't waste if you don't have to) - if you go grocery shopping, bring your own bag with you instead of getting bunch of those plastic ones, don't use plastic or paper cups or plates for one use only unless necessary, use tap water for home drinking, it's cheaper and you don't use so many plastic bottles, buy biodegradable cleaning agents (safer for our planet, for you and your family), drive an economical car (if you can commute to work it's better), try to buy domestic produce as it does not have to be shipped, switch off the light, tv, computer if you don't need it... so much stuff you can do to save our planet. One by one and soon we all will be able to do something about it....

For me it is about reducing my impact on the planet and creating a healthier environment for myself and my family. We as a nation have gone so far off course in these 2 areas and it doesn't take too much effort to get going back in a better direction. Part of me greening my life is to help others do the same. I'm lucky to live in a city that is working toward a more sustainable future. We have a Utility Exploration Center that gives school tours and other classes to teach energy and water conservation as well as waste reduction and recycling.

To be green means you care about the earth. You don't use a polluting car like the Hummer. You don't litter, and you try to do everything you can for your earth. You can plant trees, and flowers. Being green means you support nature, and try to save it and it's beauty. Hence, nature is green, and if you support nature, you are also considered green. Keep being green!

To move towards sustainability with each decision.
Sustainability of the human race, the planet, and a better lifestyle for myself and future generations.

By eating my vegtables that come from my garden, and giving god glory because he is the solution for our problems. *cough* I know i'm going to get slammed for saying that *cough*

Sneer at anyone who drives the wrong vehicle, has the wrong-sized family or buys items housed in the wrong packaging.
While you won't actually be doing anything productive, you'll be morally superior to everyone. And that, my friend, helps the environment
