Shopping on line or building your own, be sure to take NEC and NFPA variances into account. Here in Colorado we sit closer to the sun so even though a panel is rated at a certain max power, we have to assume that test conditions were at sea level and the panel is capable of producing more here at the higher elevations. A little off topic I know but there is a point.

Each of those cells, together form a panel that has a max power point. You have not specified what your desired output is so it is not possible to determine where to direct you to a specific manufacturer for your cells because each one.... will be different. Panels range in power. You can have two identical sized panels...and both produce different power levels. You've given a size of cell which when fully assembled can determine to total size of the panel...not the power. You then assemble those panels (by power producing capabilities) needed into an array to provide the desired energy source.

So that being said, the solar market is trying for grid autonomy meaning it is as cheap to produce solar panels as it is to "buy" power from your utility. The market is starting to come down in price because the competition and product technologies are improving daily. Average is now $1.00 per watt. Again, then, we would need to know more than just the size to compare to watt pricing.

What I would do is look at the National or State level Solar Organizations and see who their members are. That will include manufacturers and suppliers. Also, NREL is a great source of information and does sell some products. They might even have a grant program where they give you the things needed in exchange for you sharing information with them about your project.

In Colorado, ours are COSEIA and Cres. They put on trade shows including manufacturers and their mission is to expand Solar PV in Colorado.

In today's world, people are looking for ways to conserve energy and cut their costs. Solar panels are one way to do so. Although the initial costs may be relatively high, solar panels pay off in the long term, and thanks to being environmentally friendly, they also help to save the planet.

Photovoltaic (PV) solar panels use the sun in order to create electricity, which can then be used in order to power the house. Energy is derived during the day, and there is no need for direct sunshine, although this enhances electricity production, and ideally, PV panels should be installed in an unshaded location. Compared to traditional gas and electric systems, they do cost more, but help to reduce bills in the long run.

Solar panels transform the sun's radiation into electricity or heat. By and large, there are two main systems used in homes. Photovoltaic solar panel systems use daylight, not necessarily sunshine, to generate electricity via panels made of silicon. Amorphous, monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and hybrid silicone are the common materials used, with hybrid being the most efficient in terms of the amount of energy produced.

Besides the huge panels that are mounted onto the roof, portable solar panels are also produced. They allow users to recharge electronic devices while camping, and are generally lightweight. Buying a solar panel is an important decision, and when doing so, it is helpful to know the relevant terminology in order to understand what the product is all about.

For this modest quantity, your best bet may be eBay.

Shop the internet for ready-made panels, though. You may find that something already built is actually cheaper than making your own, once all materials are taken into account.
