Help organize recycling collection bins, pic ups, and recycling facilities. Have people get involved, set up meetings etc. Go to schools and businesses. Involve family members and neighbours. Post web sites. Share ideas, spread the news. Talk to and try to reach as many people as possible. You might be surprised at the response. A lot of people often wait for other people to take the initiative. Once someone DOES that, they will follow. Some people are leaders , and some people are followers. So go out there and lead a movement. You might even like it.

You can join or start an urban ecology group.

People can get involved by donating time, expertise and/or money.

You can also help by educating your colleagues, friends and family.
