What should I do about the table that comes from trash?

I don't understand why good furniture is being thrown away in the trash. I want to rescue the table. Should I go and bring it back in my apartment?

I have gotten some good stuff from people who throw it away in the trash. I guess they have money to burn. When I decide that I don't want clothing or a piece of furniture; I donate it. Often, throwing it in the trash is just a waste someone else could use it. Make sure that if it is wood you get it treated for possible termites. And any other stuff, wipe it down with Lysol or disinfectant.
