We have already planted trees around the school district and have various recycling programs around the district for ink cartridges and cell phones. Ideas for future projects and/or fundraisers would be greatly appreciated! We need all the help we can get.
Thanks.

Sell Chico Bags http://www.chicobag.com/t-productcategoriespage.aspx. These are a little more expensive than the reusable bags at stores like Wal-Mart, but they fold into a small space and are easily carried.
My husband and I run a recycling center, and we frequently buy these to give to our recyclers.

You could try and get a big bundle of energy saving light bulbs and sell them to people...? Just giving out some ideas....:]
If there are any spaces you could hold a fundraiser to put it towards building a community garden... Or plant some trees and flowers at the spot.
Gather the group out for a community clean up around the city/town.
Have some people meet at a park or community center and ride your bikes to a destination and when you get there do some fun outdoor activities.(volleyball,soccer,football.<~~ you know, sports. maybe put some cards out...) This way people can save gas, money, and the Earth. :]
I hope this helped you with some ideas. XD Good luck!

the biggest thing you can do especially since you are an enviormental club is inform.
try and get permission from your prncipal to set up a conference in your gym or lunchroom during school in which you teach about the various issues affecting our world currently.
id recommend you tell your classmates about a book called "Generation Green" by Linda and Tosh Sivertsen.
Try and raise money to buy copies of this book for your school. This book breaks down all the issues of todays world regarding the enviornment and in a way that inspires teens to act on the knowledge.
Let me know if you need anything else
id be glad to help :)

Does your state have an "Adopt A Highway" or other similar program for picking up trash? Roadside litter is a major problem these days.
Some areas also have stream cleanup programs where you go to local creeks and streams and pick up garbage out of them. This is especially good idea if your group is concerned with water quality issues. The environmental club at my college did a cleanup at a local stream quite often. You'd be amazed at the amount of trash just one half-mile of urban stream has!

Put together a litter posse. Gather as many people as possible to collectively clean up certain areas of your town. You could turn it into a big event for the whole town. All you need is a catchy name for the day when it will occur and some advertisement. When they see what you're doing to improve everyone's scenery they'll be happy to donate their time and money.

draw up a design for a house that is almost 100% self sustaining. Passive solar for heat, active solar for electricity, wind power, rainwater harvesting from the roof, garden for food, chickens for meat and eggs, the chickens would also produce the fertilizer needed for your garden, electric vehicle recharged by solar generator, composting your table scraps to be used in the garden for fertilizer, etc. etc.
