I'm writing a speech about computer waste and recycling for school. I'm currently looking for some good sources on computer waste pollution, and computer recycling. Any online magazine articles, valid sources etc. would be appreciated.

A good human resource is Jim Moltion at Northeast Surplus & Materials. This is a large part of his business. I don't have his email, but the phone and address are:

Northeast Surplus & Materials

440 Shonnard St.

Syracuse, NY 13204

315-476-4025

Check out their web site http://www.northeast-surplus.com/ . They have a press release about a new recycling process that they developed.

I'm sure he'll be glad to help.

A good place to donate computer hardware to is the Cristina Foundation, which matches up donors with non-profit organizations in the local area. Also, I like the Freecycle group, which recycles all kinds of stuff amongst regular folks.

Hello,

I am naturalist, though I don't know much things on how to help nature -yet-. Anyway, what I am sure I know about computer recyclink is that you can recycle the ink jet. But you may know it. I am sorry in this case, it is a very simple tip.
