Actually, you should never place copper in a waste or recycling bin. Currently, the price for 'scrap' copper is very high. There are people who will scatter bins contents if they discover copper is in the bins. The absolute best solution is if you have copper and you're concerned about recycling, use the Yellow Pages. Look under 'Metal,' 'Scrap Metal,' etc. The company that buys it from you is your guarantee that the copper will be recycled.



Another plus: you get some extra money!
