Panels alone are about $1.30 per watt, so maybe $6500 USD for just panels. The balance of the system can run from $2000 to $5000 depending on if you have batteries, inverter size and whether you use a backup generator, or have grid tie capability. So in a nutshell, $8500 - $11,500 USD for parts. Linlyons is correct, there are a multitude of variables here, just getting the stuff, even if it's very inexpensive, won't answer questions that apply only to you, like will your utility have special requirements that mine don't, will you have batteries (more cost). If you want it to work when the utility is down, batteries become almost mandatory. Does your local electrical code have special requirements and inspections (ours did). Might try calling them first, instead of asking the entire free world about it.
