India must bypass the fossil fuel part of the industrial revolution and go straight to non-combustive power - nuclear power plants, wind farms, hydropower dams, tidal power systems, solar power systems. The whole point is to stop burning the carbon that was fixed 500 million years ago as coal and oil, or we will restore the climate we had 500 millions years ago when atmospheric CO2 was more than double what we now have, maybe four times what we became used to during the rise of human civilization from 10,000 BC to 1700 AD.
