Like, the pigeon flies at midnight, the tiger waits till the hawk has reached the eagle. The type of stuff.

I'm trying to think of things to say to a friend and am awfully uncreative!

The Eagle has Landed......I repeat, the Eagle HAS landed.......in other words, gotta go....Mom (or whomever) is home. The pigeon has flown the coup (Coast is clear, come on over)....Fire in the hole (oops, pardon me...it was the beans we had for dinner)

Read Mickey Spillane mystery stories, also Raymond Chandler. Guns are gats, girls are molls, calling from a pay phone cost a nickel. Fun stuff.
